DubboCare Family Practice patients are required to present to reception with three points of identification upon arrival, including their legal name, date of birth, and address.
If you need to update any of your personal details (name, phone number, address, emergency contact or Medicare/healthcare card), please contact our team on (02) 6884 3551.Our practice will begin bulk billing as the new changes to Medicare are introduced. You will no longer be charged a fee for most consultations.
At DubboCare Family Practice, we understand the importance of continuity in your health care. When booking an appointment, you’re welcome to request your preferred doctor; however, please note that this may result in a longer wait time if that doctor has existing bookings.
Yes, at DubboCare Family Practice, we reserve a number of daily acute appointments. To secure an acute appointment, please phone the team early in the day on (02) 6884 3551.
We understand that there may be times when you’re unable to attend your appointment. If this happens, we kindly ask that you contact the DubboCare Family Practice administration team as soon as possible to cancel, so we can offer the appointment to another patient in need of medical care.
Please note that missed appointments without prior cancellation may incur a $50 fee, which is not claimable through Medicare.
Yes, DubboCare Family Practice offers telehealth appointments. Please let us know at the time of booking if you prefer a telehealth consultation. To be eligible, you must have seen a GP at our practice within the past three months.
At DubboCare Family Practice, we prioritise the health and safety of all our patients and team. If you are experiencing any COVID-19, cold, or flu-like symptoms, we kindly ask that you call ahead to discuss whether a telehealth appointment may be more appropriate.
If a face-to-face consultation is required, we ask that you wear a mask and maintain a social distance from other patients and our team during your visit.
Please note: Home visits are offered at the discretion of each individual doctor.
Doctors at DubboCare Family Practice are unable to take phone calls from patients during consultations.

When your test results become available, your DubboCare Family Practice doctor will review them and determine whether a follow-up appointment is required. You will be contacted if an urgent or non-urgent review is necessary.
Please note that our administration team cannot disclose test results over the phone. If you are expecting specialist reports, we kindly ask that you check with our administration team upon arrival to help prevent any delays during your consultation.
